Baby Sawyer

Jack's newest best friend, Sawyer Richard Scott was born almost 2 weeks ago on April 12! He is so precious and we are so excited for our friends Keith and Lindsey Scott on their wonderful little angel! Both baby and mama are doing great and we can't wait to spend more time with them! Thank you God for this precious miracle!

More pictures to come! He's already changing so much! So cute! :-)

A-Day!!

Last weekend we went down to Auburn for A-Day and had so much fun! Jack had never been to A-Day before (not even in the womb), so we had to take him to get him excited about the upcoming football season. If you remember, we did take Jack to his first real football game back in November, but he was just 4 months old and didn't like it too much, so we had to get him to change his outlook on football! :-)

Once on campus, we went to the new Auburn Arena to check it out since it was open house. It was really nice, and we stayed in there a while since it was air conditioned! :-) We then went to the game, and even though we only stayed through the first half, he was perfect the entire time! We did have some cheerios and puffs to keep him occupied, but he didn't get fussy once! Overall, Jack had a great first A-Day and we are looking forward to when he's a little older for the real football season.

Hanging out with Uncle Conner and Aunt Ashley on the way to the game

Running into Uncle Jim, Aunt Deena, and cousin Blakely in the new Arena. Blakely loves to kiss her "Jack Jack"

Sitting with Granna during the game. We loved having her hangout with us and help that day!

Daddy teaching his boy about the players and the rules of football

Watching the game! He loved looking out at the field to see what was going on.

A Day at the Park

Our Tuesday morning playgroup met this week at Veterans Park since it was such a pretty day! Jack loved swinging by himself and also with Mama. He also loved spending time and playing with his friends Ava and Ryder.

9 Month Check-Up

Jack had his 9 month check-up at the doctor yesterday! He did so well and the doctor was very impressed with his verbal skills, motor skills, all his teeth, and his dieting skills! :) He actually had slimmed up and lost 1.5 lbs since February and is now 22 lbs 6 oz. He also was 28 3/4 inches long (up from just 28 inches last time), and his head circumference is 18.5 inches. He is now in the 75th percentile for both height and weight, down from 90th in weight (height was already 75th). He had one shot and he was such a big boy! He only cried for a second and then started back laughing and clapping! :). He is such a big boy now and we are so proud of him!

Baby Dedication

Jack's Baby Dedication was this past Wednesday night at Church of the Highlands. We got to go up on stage with a few other families to introduce Jack to everyone. After Kurt introduced our family, Pastor Chris said, "It looks like Jack hasn't missed a meal!" :-) Needless to say, we love our chunky and now famous angel and are proud he's officially part of our church family with us! Thank you Lord for our little miracle!

Thanks to Mama Becky and Daddy Mer for coming to celebrate with us and also to take pictures!

First Easter!

First Easter! We had a blast all week and weekend! We took a lot of pictures, so I'm just warning you before you scroll down! There were just too many cute ones to choose from! :-)

His first Easter Egg Hunt was Wednesday at our church playgroup. Mommy had to help hunt the eggs because the big bullies (the 1 and 2 year olds who could walk already) were getting all the eggs! :-) He did find one with some Cheerios in it and now he loves Cheerios!

Discovery of the egg

Sitting with his new friend Ethan (who is just 2 weeks younger)! Jack really liked eating the pine straw the best!

Thanks again to Granna for the bunny ears!

On Saturday afternoon we went over to Papa and Grandmama Sherry's house for playtime and supper.

This shows he wants to crawl, and knows how to start, but just can't fully do it yet.

Easter morning we put him in his cute outfit (on loan from Baby Sawyer) and gave him his first Easter basket! Of course he tumped it all out and chewed on everything. We then went to church and Jack went to the nursery for the first time ever! The workers said he did very well for his first time, which is good because his mommy was very nervous! Afterwards we went to Mama Becky and Daddy Mer's house for lunch and another Easter Egg Hunt!

He had fun with his cousins Jake and Brooke, but we really missed Blakely!

He loves to clap his hands now! It's so precious and he started the day before Easter, so of course was showing it off on Sunday!
