Jack had his 18 month check-up today, and things didn't go so well. We showed up with him having a fever and a bad cough, so instead of the normal 18 month routine, they treated it as a sick appointment. They still weighed and measured him, but didn't do the regular shots since he was so sick. He screamed and cried the entire time, making it very hard for the nurses and doctor to examine him, but it's hard to blame him after they told us he had croup and a double ear infection! Poor baby! They did give him a steroid shot and an antibiotic to start on, so hopefully he will be better in a few days.
With all the chaos, I wasn't able to get his normal check-up picture taken, but I'll add a couple of recent ones at the bottom just because. His weight and measurements looked great, and he's still in the 75th percentile for both! The doctor says he's perfectly proportioned! :-) He was also very impressed with how well Jack is developing in terms of speech and motor skills.
