Over the last few days, Jack and I were both lucky enough to go to Lake Martin for some fun in the sun! Our friend Lindsey invited us to to her in-laws' lake house along with our friend Shelley and her son Hunter. Since it was just us moms and our boys, Lindsey felt it necessary to call it Mamapalooza 2011! :-)
After we got there Sunday night and put the boys down, we stayed up until 2 am just talking and catching up! We can't even remember the last time we did that, but we were just girls being girls!
All day Monday we played outside in the lake and in the boat. Lindsey's parents Larry and Bobbie Jones came in their boat to take us out for the afternoon, and we had a blast! We took a picnic lunch to eat out at Chimney Rock, then got in the water for a while to cool off and play.
We let the boys nap when we got back to the house, then Lindsey cooked us a delicious dinner. We then ended up going to bed pretty early to make up for lost sleep the night before!
We left the house around lunch today, stopped by Oskar's for lunch, then all headed home! Thanks so much, Lindsey, for a great trip! :-)
