Baby's First Christmas: Part 1

Jack has already had so much fun getting ready for his first Christmas! A couple of weekends ago we started our shopping, picked out our tree, and decorated our house! We tried to go get his picture with Santa, too, but so did everyone else, so we will try again this week or next week. I titled this "Part 1" because we will add more after Christmas to complete his very first Christmas experience!

All bundled up to go outside! It had snowed the night before!

Our tree! Jack slept through us picking it out, but he was still a part of it!

Jack putting up his little Auburn football player ornament!

Jack just chillin' in front of the tree while we finish decorating it and our house.

All dressed up for Christmas pictures!

Two Teeth!

I finally got a picture of Jack's two teeth!! He usually sticks his tongue out when I pull his bottom lip down, but this time he didn't! Such a big boy with teeth! :-)

Thanksgiving Fun

Happy Late Thanksgiving everyone! We had so much fun with all of our families! We had 4 get-togethers to go to and made it to all 4! Hallelujah! :-) We are so thankful for all of our families and what they mean to us and do for us. God has blessed us beyond measure and we love everyone so much!

This was, of course, Jack's first Thanksgiving, and even though he couldn't have all the yummy food, I'm sure he enjoyed it through his mommy. He had a good time with all the fun, even though he was a little puny from being sick! He's been stopped up and extra fussy lately, so we kept thinking it was just because he has TWO TEETH now!! We didn't think it was much else until I read something about continued congestion may also be a sign of an ear infection, so I took him to the doctor on Monday and yep, mommy was right! We got him started on an antibiotic and we hope to see some results soon.

We also had the Iron Bowl last week after Thanksgiving, and Jack slept pretty much the whole day at the tailgate! Maybe he had an insight Auburn would lose and he just didn't want to witness his Tigers lose his first Iron Bowl. Too bad he didn't see how awesome they played all game! He was still very proud of his Tigers and is looking forward to watching the bowl game now!

We took some great pictures of Jack and some family members during Thanksgiving!
