Mama Becky and Daddy Mer Beach Trip

A few weeks ago we were able to go to the beach with my side of the family and we had a blast!  We stayed at the Phoenix West in Orange Beach and we love that place!  We have stayed there a couple times before, and we are getting spoiled by staying there! The condo was gorgeous, plus we love their lazy river, big kiddie pool, and waterslide!  Mama Becky and Daddy Mer gave Jack his first puddle jumper and he wore it all the time and loved it!  

Jack and Daddy spent a lot of time going down the slide together!

Jack also loved going down to the beach to play in the water and sand.

We also spent a lot of time out on the balcony looking down at everyone front the 21st floor!

Speaking of the balcony, Daddy Mer even got a cute picture of us in the lazy river from up there! He obviously has a great camera lens! :-)

Monday night we went out to eat to celebrate Aunt Amy's birthday!  We went to the Crab Trap and the food was delicious, plus the kids had fun on their playground!

One night after dinner we went to The Track to ride go-karts, play putt-putt, and play arcade games!

Big Boy Bed

Right around Jack's 3rd birthday he got a big boy bed!  We took out his crib and put it in the guest room (now Charlie's room), plus moved out his changing table and glider, and moved in a big boy bed!  We even had cute sports bedding to go with his sports room!  The first night was a little rough (it took from 9 to midnight to get him to sleep), but since then each night has gotten a little better and easier, and so far he sleeps there all night until around 7:30 or 8!  He looks so big sleeping him his big boy bed! He of course has to have all of his animals sleeping with him, too! :)

Jack's 3rd Birthday

Jack is already 3 years old! He is such a big boy!  We started the day off by giving him his new Thomas tent and he of course had to play in it immediately!

We then ran through the drive-thru at Jack's to get him a bacon biscuit and Sprite.  We had to go to Mommy's work for a few hours, but he enjoyed his birthday breakfast and was a very sweet boy while we were there.

Finally it was time for lunch and we got to meet Daddy at Chuck E. Cheese! Jack loves that place!  We played lots of toys plus had lots of pizza!  He even got extra tokens since it was his birthday!

Sweet boy fell asleep on the way to Atlanta to go see the Braves play.  He had already had too much fun and just couldn't stay awake.  He didn't even let go of his glove to fall asleep! :-)

We finally made it to the Braves game!  Jack had to try out the pitching cage to work on his form. :-)

We got there early so we sat in the outfield at first to try to catch a ball during batting practice.  Jack was so cute just standing there holding his glove up!

Jack did his tomahawk chop all night long and it was so cute!  He did more of a "tomahawk wave" than a chop, but it was still awesome!

Jack and Daddy had to get a quick picture after the game in front the giant drum! They are smiling big because the Braves had just won 8-1 for Jack's birthday!

We had SUCH a fun day celebrating Jack and how much he means to us.  He's the best thing that has ever happened to us, and it's so hard to believe he's already 3!  He's such a big boy and we are so proud of him and love him very much!
