Best Buy Fun

Yesterday during Kurt's lunch break we went to eat at Moe's and then went to Best Buy to look around. Kurt always has a good time in there just seeing what new things have come out, but now Jack loves it too! How am I going to handle two boys that don't ever want to leave that place?

More Walking!!

Jack continues to walk everyday and he's getting better and better each time! He's getting more fearless and he just loves the new freedom! We've tried several shoes on his feet, and he keeps kicking them all off! We then realized we'd been given some camo crocs from Lisa at my old work, and he seems to like those and keeps them on! He even walks really well in them! He's barefoot in the video below, but he does get a lot of practice in his shoes inside and outside the house!

Here is another video of him walking, but this time he doesn't need anything to walk to! He's just walking around like a big boy! :-)

Travelin' Man...

The last few weeks Jack has been taking a few steps here and there, but nothing like this past weekend! He let go of a chair Saturday night towards his froggy and just kept going! He gets so excited to walk now! He must love the extra freedom! :-)

Trussville Splash Pad

Today we went to the Trussville Splash Pad with our friends Amy and Olivia Millington. Olivia is just 4 days younger than Jack, but she's already walking around everywhere, and really well! She and Jack were in Baby Praise at church together and got to be good friends. It took Olivia a few minutes to get used to the water, but Jack sat down in it right away and got her interested. They are good at showing and teaching each other stuff! :-)

When we got there, I realized I had forgotten Jack's swimsuit, so he had all his fun in just his swimmy diaper! I felt a little funny about him not having his swimsuit on, but he didn't seem to mind too much! :-)

Another Family Beach Trip!

This past weekend we were back at the beach, but this time at Orange Beach! Kurt's family took us all down there to the Phoenix West, and it was so much fun! The condo itself was beautiful, but then the pool area and beach were great, too! They had a really nice pool, but then also a lazy river and waterslide! We spent most of our days out by the pool or beach, and then went out to eat 3 out of the 4 nights we were there.

Jack had such a great time, and loved being out in the pool and lazy river! We kept sunscreen on him throughout the day, so he'd be outside for 2-3 hours at a time and loved it! He also was glad to have so much family surrounding him all day, too.

Thanks so much to Granna and Poppy for such a great family trip! We love going the beach and appreciate all you did to make it such a fun and memorable trip! Y'all do so much for all of us and we appreciate and love y'all so much!

Family Lake Trip!

We went to Lake Martin last week with my mom's side of the family and had a blast! It was gorgeous everyday and we enjoyed everyone being together. We also rented a boat and tube, so we got to go out on the water everyday, which was a lot of fun!
